French rush seated ladder back armchair

Two French ladder back chairs with arms. Painted in F&B Cornforth White and slightly distressed. They have just been beautifully re-rushed with English rush from the River Ouse in Bedfordshire. (This rush is known for its slightly greeny hue, which tends to pale with time and with exposure to sunlight). SOLD
